The scope of works will begin with the demolition of existing structural walls, a technically demanding process requiring careful sequencing to maintain the integrity of the split-level configuration throughout construction. New structural framing will be introduced to open up and redefine the internal layout, while the existing rooflines will be extended and reconstructed to integrate seamlessly with the new additions, creating a cohesive built form that reads as a single, unified residence.

Externally, the home will be fully reclad in new lightweight cladding, delivering a crisp, contemporary facade that refreshes the property’s street presence while complementing the natural harbour setting. The result will be a home that balances the character of its original bones with the demands of modern family living.

RSD Constructions has been engaged under a Construct Only contract, with a project value of $945,000 including GST. The programme is scheduled to run from March to August 2026, delivering a transformed residence in just under six months.
