Mastering a 7-Meter Fall: Precision in Every Detail
The project’s finished levels involved a significant 7-meter fall across the site, demanding careful planning, precise engineering, and innovative construction methods. Working on such a steep gradient meant that traditional approaches wouldn’t suffice. We employed a core fill block process to establish a strong, durable foundation that could withstand the site’s demands while offering long-term stability.
Temporary Shoring: A Critical Component in Foundation Excavation
To safely cut into the hillside, we utilised a temporary shoring system. This ensured the stability of the surrounding earth as we worked to excavate the foundation—a critical factor given the scale and complexity of the build. The shoring allowed us to proceed with confidence, knowing that both the structure and the natural landscape were secure throughout the process.
External Wall Tanking: Ensuring Lasting Waterproofing
